About the Vice President Role
The Vice President will work closely with senior-level team members to lead and help grow accounts focused on corporate communications, corporate reputation, brand building and crisis/ issues management across a variety of industries.
The Vice President will lead account strategy and daily management with an entrepreneurial mindset and a cooperative approach. The candidate should have a solid understanding of how to develop and execute integrated communications programs as well as deep media relations experience. The ideal candidate excels in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and possesses superior client relations, presentation, and communication skill s.

Compensation and Benefits:
Sloane is committed to pay equity. Sloane believes the target range of base compensation in this role is between $125,000-$165,000. In addition to base salary, Sloane considers other key components as part of total compensation, including but not limited to an annual discretionary bonus, commission on new business, and a comprehensive benefits package. Actual base compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors, such as skillset , level of experience, and location.

About the Vice President Role

Responsibilities
- Lead clients with relative independence and manage account team with input from client lead .
- Be seen both by the internal team and the client as the day-to-day account go-to .
- Develop complex, multifaceted communications plans and supplemental project plans .
- Oversee the team’s process to ensure highest quality client deliverables and client management on a consistent basis.
- Develop strong early drafts of new business presentations and actively partake in the presentation to a prospect .
- Lead the process of driving client goals .
- Commit to internal leadership responsibilities aimed at making Sloane an exceptional place to work and grow.
- Approximately 8-12 years of public relations experience. Previous agency experience is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong, trusted client partnerships, serving as a strategic advisor and essential resource for client success.
- Proven expertise in media relations, with a track record of securing high-impact coverage and cultivating relationships with top-tier journalists.
- Energetic , solutions -oriented leader who drives initiatives forward and ensures alignment with client and organizational goals.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple ongoing activities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational abilities, with a proven capacity to engage and motivate stakeholders at every level.
- Collaborative, team- focused leader passionate about mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
