About the job
The Receiving Clerk ensures accurate inventory control by managing incoming shipments,
stocking materials, and preparing kits for production.
We're looking for someone who
- Has a high school diploma or GED
- Has 3 years of warehouse experience
- Can accurately receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments
- Is comfortable using basic computer systems and inventory tracking tools
- Can follow written schedules, pick lists, and detailed instructions with high accuracy
- Is organized and detail-oriented with strong recordkeeping skills
- Communicates effectively and can coordinate with cross-functional teams
- Is able to speak and understand English
- Has forklift certification (preferred)
- Is flexible and available to work overtime based on production needs (preferred)
- Maintains a strong commitment to safety procedures and workplace standards
What you'll do
- Schedule and coordinate inbound deliveries, ensuring proper documentation
- Inspect, verify, and process incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
- Input received materials into inventory systems and forward documentation as needed
- Store and organize materials based on size, type, and identifying information
- Pick, kit, and distribute materials to production teams based on schedules
- Maintain accurate inventory and stockroom records
- Identify and report damaged shipments and coordinate returns or repairs
- Deliver materials throughout the facility while maintaining clear and safe pathways
- Support production by preparing and transporting kits as needed
- Assist other departments and support overall warehouse operations
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment
Physical requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs regularly
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders frequently
- Must be comfortable working around machinery and moderate noise levels
- Requires frequent use of hands for handling materials and operating equipment
- Must have visual acuity (near/far, depth perception, and peripheral vision)
