About the job
The Quality Control Technician monitors and verifies quality standards for manufactured products
to ensure compliance with specifications and production requirements.
We're looking for someone who
● Has 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment
● Has proven experience as a quality control inspector (preferred)
● Demonstrates a strong understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures
● Has experience reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications
● Is proficient in computer software applications
● Has knowledge of industry products and production processes
● Demonstrates excellent attention to detail
● Works efficiently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
● Can prioritize and multitask effectively in a production environment
● Is interested in mentoring and supporting the development of junior team members
What you'll do
● Read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications
● Monitor production operations to ensure compliance with standards
● Recommend adjustments to assembly or production processes as needed
● Inspect, test, and measure materials and finished products
● Use rulers, calipers, gauges, micrometers, and electronic inspection equipment
● Perform tests such as continuity, resistance, and hipot testing
● Approve finished products by verifying specifications and completing required tests
● Identify and remove non-conforming materials and products
● Return products for rework and complete documentation accordingly
● Document inspection results through reports and logs
● Visually and physically inspect products for imperfections
● Maintain a safe work environment in compliance with procedures and regulations
● Support continuous learning and improvement initiatives
Physical requirements
● Must be able to stand for extended periods
● Must be able to lift up to 35lbs
● Must have strong visual acuity to inspect detailed components
● Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
● Must be able to perform repetitive inspection and measurement tasks
