About the job:
The Material Handler supports warehouse and production operations by moving materials, handling
recyclables, and staging inventory as directed. This role involves physical labor, attention to detail, and
teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has the ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Can stand for prolonged periods and work on ladders
- Has good manual dexterity
- Works well under close supervision
- Can follow both verbal and written instructions
- Functions effectively in a team environment
What you’ll do:
- Collect, sort, and transport recycling from production areas
- Flatten cardboard and prep recyclable materials
- Load and unload pallets from trailers
- Stage materials in warehouse lanes as instructed
- Move materials to production and other designated areas
- Package and unpack materials as needed
- Inspect items for defects, wear, or damage
- Report findings and updates to the warehouse manager
- Maintain records of damaged stock and equipment
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
Physical requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Must be able to perform repetitive motions for extended periods
- Must be comfortable standing for most of the shift
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing or production environment
