What are the responsibilities and job description for the Light packaging position at SlingShot Connections?
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform all general production duties which include but are not limited to: labeling, capping, bagging, and boxing as described in the PPS (Packaging Process Specification)
- Read and understand the PPS for packaging instructions, material handling, and shipping procedures
- Use hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, move, or stack materials or products, as needed
- Perform any tasks and/or production duties as requested by management
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Must practice good safety habits at all times and be respectful towards all fellow employees
QUALIFICATIONS
- Pallet jack experience a plus
- Good communication skills required
- Must be able to understand and follow both verbal and written instructions
- Must be able to work as a creative, flexible, innovative, and effective member of a team
- Must be punctual with good attendance
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., additional weight with assistance
