What are the responsibilities and job description for the Superintendent position at Slider Construction?
Slider Construction is looking for a motivated, hard-working superintendent to run our commercial construction projects. Our superintendents are responsible for the daily operation of the job site to make sure projects are completed as per plans and specifications and on time.
Responsibilities
- Reading and following plans, specifications, and approved submittals and ensuring that all subcontractors are following project documents
- Creating and keeping a schedule, scheduling subcontractors and vendors accordingly, and keeping a detailed daily log of the project
- Generate project documentation such as RFI's, closeout documents, look ahead schedules, etc.
- Ensure that job sites are safe, clean, and respectful. Slider Construction has a high standard of professionalism that we expect to maintain on our projects.
- Work closely with architects, owners, and project managers to ensure the job is going smoothly and that Slider Construction is maintaining communication with those involved in the project.
- General labor and skilled labor including wall layout, installing doorframes, doors, and hardware, framing and sheetrocking, cleanup of job site, etc.
Qualifications
- Applicant must have 4 years of construction experience. Commercial experience preferred.
- Must be able to read plans and specifications.
- Must be detail-oriented and organized.
- Must be personable and professional.
- Must have a valid driver's license.

Salary : $40 - $50
