As a Senior Claims Adjuster - Large Loss, you’ll handle complex residential property claims, guide customers through challenging situations, and play a key role in delivering fair, timely, and accurate claim resolutions.
What You’ll Do
- Manage a caseload of large and/or complex residential property claims, from investigation through resolution
- Analyze coverage, evaluate exposure, and make timely claim decisions within authority limits
- Deliver exceptional customer service while setting clear expectations throughout the claims process
- Negotiate and settle claims in accordance with company guidelines and industry best practices
- Partner with vendors, adjusters, and external stakeholders to drive effective claim outcomes
- Ensure accurate documentation, reserving, and compliance with applicable state regulations
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- 4 years of residential property claims experience
- 3 years of experience working directly for an insurance carrier
- Strong knowledge of coverage analysis, claims handling, and state insurance regulations
- Experience handling complex claims, including litigation and third-party claims preferred
- Xactimate proficiency highly preferred
