What You Will Be Doing

• Deploy, configure, and maintain access control systems and cybersecurity tools, ensuring their availability, effectiveness, and alignment with best practices.
• Monitor server logs, firewall logs, and network traffic to detect, analyze, and respond to suspicious activities and potential threats.
• Investigate and resolve security alerts, incidents, and potential breaches in collaboration with IT and business teams.
• Perform regular vulnerability scans, assess findings, identify false positives, coordinate remediation, and validate fixes.
• Provide security-related support to employees and contractors, including phishing investigations, endpoint protection, and incident escalation.
• Coordinate and administer company-wide security awareness training, testing, and phishing simulations.
• Support internal audits by performing security and access control audits and providing required documentation.
• Maintain and update security policies, procedures, technical documentation, and standard operating procedures.
• Partner with internal IT teams and external vendors to manage and optimize security tool configurations and performance.
• Participate as a subject matter expert (SME) in IT projects, ensuring that security considerations are integrated into system design and implementation.
• Recommend, test, and apply system patches, software updates, and configuration changes to address identified vulnerabilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  
  

What You Already Have

Education, Experience, and Licensing:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field required; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT security administration or a related role.
• Certifications in Security , CISSP, CEH, or GSEC are preferred.
  
  

Qualifications/Skills And Competencies

• Strong knowledge of security frameworks, tools, and best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), endpoint detection and response (EDR), intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), vulnerability management, patching, and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms.
• Familiarity with phishing prevention and analysis techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain technical security concepts to non-technical users.
• Proficient in MSO/365 applications such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
