Responsibilities
- Supervise front-of-house staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management to foster a motivated and efficient team
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow during all shifts
- Maintain high standards of food handling, cleanliness, and safety in compliance with health regulations
- Manage customer relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring a positive dining experience
- Handle cash transactions, POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and inventory control to optimize operational efficiency
- Coordinate with kitchen management to ensure timely food preparation and service delivery
- Lead staff recruitment efforts through interviewing, onboarding, and ongoing training & development initiatives
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant management or food service management with supervising responsibilities in quick service or casual dining environments
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; proficient in cash handling procedures
- Demonstrated expertise in food safety standards, inventory control, and food production processes
- Excellent leadership skills with experience in staff training, team management, and conflict resolution
- Background in hospitality management or culinary experience preferred; fine dining or banquet experience is a plus
- Ability to manage shift schedules effectively while maintaining high levels of customer service
- Familiarity with budgeting, food handling regulations, and restaurant operations within the food industry
