Position Overview
Sleepyhead is seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Senior Paid Ads Manager with deep expertise in Google Ads to lead and scale our paid acquisition efforts. This role will have full ownership of paid media P&L, with a strong focus on intent-based channels and bottom-of-funnel performance.
You will be responsible for strategy, execution, and optimization across Google (Search, YouTube, Display, Performance Max) as the primary driver, while also supporting expansion into TikTok, Pinterest, MNTN, and Meta. This role is ideal for someone who excels at capturing demand, scaling efficiently, and driving profitable growth.
This is an in-office position based in Old Town Scottsdale, Arizona, Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities
● Own and manage the full paid media P&L, including budget allocation, forecasting, and profitability targets
● Lead strategy and execution across Google Ads (primary focus) including Search, Shopping, YouTube, Display, and Performance Max
● Scale campaigns efficiently while maintaining target ROAS, CPA, and contribution margin goals
● Conduct in-depth keyword research, search term mining, and audience segmentation to unlock growth
● Continuously optimize bidding strategies, campaign structures, and feed management (for Shopping/PMax)
● Test and improve ad copy, landing pages, and conversion funnels to increase CVR and AOV
● Analyze performance data and deliver actionable insights to leadership
● Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to develop high-performing ad assets
● Implement and refine tracking, attribution, and conversion measurement (GA4, pixels, enhanced conversions, etc.)
● Stay up to date with Google platform changes, automation advancements, and best practices
Qualifications
● 3–6 years of experience managing paid media, with a strong emphasis on Google Ads
● Proven track record of scaling e-commerce brands through Search, Shopping, and Performance Max
● Experience owning budgets and optimizing toward full P&L outcomes, not just channel metrics
● Strong understanding of keyword strategy, bidding strategies, and feed-based campaigns
● Working knowledge of TikTok Ads, Pinterest Ads, MNTN, and Meta Ads
● Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make performance-driven decisions
● Experience with GA4, attribution models, and conversion tracking
● Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
● E-commerce and direct-to-consumer experience strongly preferred
