Location: In-Office | Old Town Scottsdale, AZ
Salary: $50,000–$65,000 (DOE)
Company: Sleepyhead USA
Sleepyhead is one of the fastest-growing brands in the sleep industry — recently named on the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies.
We’re a modern, Scottsdale-based e-commerce company shaking up the college sleep market with our premium mattress toppers and sleep essentials. Known for our bold creative, energetic team culture, and fast-paced operations, Sleepyhead has built a strong, passionate community of customers — and an even more passionate internal team.
As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an Office Manager who can support our team, elevate our operations, help preserve (and improve!) our company culture, and assist with customer service as needed to ensure our brand delivers exceptional support both internally and externally.
We’re seeking a full-time, in-person Office Manager who will be the organizational backbone of the Sleepyhead office. This person will ensure the team stays on task, the office runs smoothly, and communication remains clear and consistent across all departments.
You’ll play a key role in keeping the team accountable, taking thorough notes in meetings, assigning and tracking action items, and ensuring follow-through across all roles. You’ll support leadership with internal communication, scheduling, culture-building initiatives, and day-to-day operations — while also assisting with customer support needs such as responding to inquiries, handling order questions, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
This is the perfect role for someone who is highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, people-focused, and eager to help wherever needed — someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and has a passion for structure, teamwork, and culture.
- Serve as the central point of coordination for the entire office, ensuring smooth daily operations and clear communication.
- Take detailed notes during leadership and team meetings, distribute summaries, and track action items through completion.
- Follow up with employees on tasks, deadlines, and performance-related expectations; maintain accountability systems.
- Support leadership by organizing weekly priorities and ensuring projects move forward on schedule.
- Assist with onboarding, scheduling, training coordination, and internal communications.
- Create and maintain office processes, SOPs, checklists, and operational systems.
- Foster a positive, energetic, and healthy team culture; plan team-building activities and keep morale high.
- Manage office inventory, supplies, vendor coordination, and facilities needs.
- Help coordinate small events, celebrations, and company meetings.
- Provide executive support where needed — including calendar management, reminders, and follow-through on initiatives.
- Assist with customer service by responding to inquiries, helping with orders, coordinating with fulfillment, and ensuring customer issues are resolved promptly and professionally.
- 2 years of office management, operations, administrative, customer service, or team-support experience.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail; able to keep the team structured and on track.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; confident in holding others accountable respectfully.
- Self-starter with the ability to anticipate needs, solve problems, and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar), project/task management tools (Monday), and general office technology.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Positive, team-first mindset with a passion for building culture and supporting people.
- Customer service experience or willingness to assist with customer support is a strong plus.
- We’re an Inc. 5000 fastest-growing company with a dynamic, creative team.
- You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the internal culture and operational excellence of the company.
- Fun, energetic office environment in Old Town Scottsdale.
- Competitive salary and strong benefits package.
Benefits include:
- Matching 401(k)
- Health, dental, and vision insurance
- PTO, sick time, and paid holidays
- Employee discounts and team events
