We are hiring a Director of Paid Media to lead strategy, execution, and growth across all paid acquisition channels with a focus on Google Ads and PPC campaigns. This is a senior leadership role combining hands-on expertise with strategic oversight of multi-million-dollar campaigns. You will drive new customer acquisition, optimize full-funnel performance, and lead a team to scale revenue and ROAS across search, shopping, display, and social platforms.
Leadership & Strategy
- Lead, mentor, and manage a small team of media specialists and managers
- Exclusively develop and execute a comprehensive paid media strategy with a focus on Google Ads/PPC, YouTube, and display networks
- Set ambitious performance targets, including ROAS, MER, and blended CAC, and drive accountability across campaigns
- Oversee audits, growth strategy, and campaign reporting for multiple accounts or product lines
- Build structured testing frameworks for creative, offers, messaging, and funnel optimization
Paid Media Management & Execution
- Own and optimize campaigns across:
- Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Performance Max, YouTube)
- Display, remarketing, and prospecting campaigns
- Help with cross collaboration on other campaigns (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest) as needed
- Manage monthly ad budgets and scale campaigns profitably
- Leverage data-driven strategies to acquire users, generate leads, and maximize sales
- Optimize bid strategies, targeting, ad copy, and landing pages for maximum ROI
- Maintain and improve blended channel performance, including AOV, contribution margin, CTR, CVR, and CPA
Performance & Analytics Leadership
- Own weekly and monthly performance reporting for leadership
- Analyze key metrics and trends to identify growth opportunities, performance gaps, and scaling strategies
- Ensure clean data flow, accurate tracking, and attribution across platforms and Shopify
- Drive results with performance-based KPIs, including multi-million-dollar revenue contributions and consistent ROI targets
E-Commerce & Conversion Optimization
- Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to develop high-performing ad concepts
- Lead landing page testing and full-funnel conversion optimization
- Implement structured frameworks for creative and offer testing to maximize campaign impact
- Reduce CPAs and improve ROAS across campaigns by applying proven optimization strategies
- 7 years of hands-on paid media experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Proven success scaling Google Ads / PPC campaigns profitably for e-commerce brands
- Experience managing multi-million-dollar monthly ad budgets
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive strategic decisions
- Deep understanding of Shopify, Google analytics platforms, and e-commerce tracking
- Comfortable leading a fast-growth, in-office team environment
Extra Preferred Experience
- Experience with Klaviyo and Postscript
- Amazon Seller Central experience
- Experience leveraging influencer-generated content for paid campaigns
- Previous experience in DTC or consumer product brands
Salary: $110,000 – $150,000 (based on experience)
Bonus: Performance-based bonus eligible
