Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, offering a friendly and professional first impression.
- Manage guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently using hotel management software.
- Handle reservations, cancellations, modifications, and special requests with precision and care.
- Provide accurate information about hotel amenities, local attractions, dining options, and transportation services.
- Answer multiple phone lines promptly using multi-line phone systems while maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure maximum satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed records of guest stays, payments, and requests to support smooth operations.
- Assist with night audit procedures when working overnight shifts to reconcile daily financial transactions.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready and facilities are well-maintained.
- Uphold hospitality standards by demonstrating excellent customer service skills and fostering positive guest relations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality management roles, especially front desk or guest services positions.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guests effectively.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional appearance.
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and clear verbal interaction.
- Experience operating multi-line phone systems in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of hotel management software or property management systems (PMS).
- Ability to handle night audit responsibilities confidently if applying for overnight shifts.
- Previous hotel experience is preferred but not mandatory; a passion for hospitality is essential.
