Duties
- Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions and ensure accuracy of all accounts.
- Manage front desk operations during overnight shifts, including check-ins and check-outs.
- Handle guest inquiries with professionalism and provide exceptional customer service.
- Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and billing information.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve issues efficiently to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Operate multi-line phone systems with proper phone etiquette and assist guests or staff as needed.
- Prepare reports for management regarding occupancy, revenue, and other relevant metrics.
- Ensure the security of the property by monitoring surveillance systems and conducting nightly inspections.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence related to hotel operations.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel operations is preferred.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse guest populations effectively.
- Prior experience with night audit procedures or front desk responsibilities is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of hotel management software and multi-line phone systems is beneficial.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and phone etiquette.
- Experience working in resort or hotel environments demonstrating adaptability and professionalism.
