Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen appliances to ensure continuous operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems including air conditioning units, HVAC & HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, and kitchen equipment.
- Read schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately and efficiently.
- Install new appliances and mechanical equipment following safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines.
- Conduct routine inspections of building systems to identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance activities, and system performance logs to ensure compliance and facilitate future troubleshooting.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or Maintenance Technician with a focus on appliance repair, HVAC system repair, or mechanical systems repair.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC & HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, air conditioning, and kitchen equipment maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with appliance installation and repair in commercial or industrial settings.
- Familiarity with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) practices within construction or facility environments.
- Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
