Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician performs a wide variety of maintenance, repair, renovation, and construction-related tasks for residential, commercial, and property management customers. This position requires the ability to work independently, solve problems in the field, and perform physically demanding work in a variety of weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- General maintenance and repair work
- Drywall repair and painting
- Basic plumbing repairs
- Electrical troubleshooting and repairs
- Carpentry and remodeling projects
- Property turnover and punch-list work
- Installation and repair of fixtures, doors, windows, and hardware
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely
- Drive company vehicles to and from job sites
- Communicate professionally with customers, tenants, and team members
- Maintain accurate job notes and documentation
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
This position is physically demanding and requires the ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.Employees must be able to:
- Stand and walk for the majority of an 8-hour workday.
- Frequently bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, push, pull, and reach.
- Frequently lift and carry materials, tools, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Occasionally lift and move items weighing up to 100 pounds, with assistance when appropriate.
- Climb ladders and work at varying heights.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely.
- Drive company vehicles to and from job sites.
- Work around moving machinery and construction equipment.
- Work in residential, commercial, and property management environments.
- Perform work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, humidity, and temperature fluctuations.
- Tolerate exposure to dust, dirt, paint, construction debris, fumes, and similar job-site conditions.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass a background check
- Basic maintenance, construction, or trade experience preferred
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Schedule
Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Compensation
Competitive pay based on experience and skill level.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
