Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces using industry-standard techniques and equipment
• Maintain high standards of floor care, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to ensure spotless surfaces
• Restock supplies such as linens, toiletries, and amenities to ensure guest needs are met promptly and efficiently
• Follow established protocols for sanitation and safety to uphold health regulations and prevent contamination
• Assist with special cleaning projects, including industrial cleaning tasks or deep cleans of carpets and upholstery when needed
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately to ensure swift resolution and continuous quality standards
• Support team efforts by managing custodial supplies inventory and ensuring all cleaning tools are well-maintained

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping roles with a focus on quality service
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation for various surfaces
• Prior hotel or hospitality experience preferred, demonstrating familiarity with guest-focused service standards
• Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks safely and efficiently in diverse environments
• Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards
• Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout shifts comfortably
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues clearly
