Duties
- Oversee the daily operations of the hotel, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage services, and maintenance to ensure smooth functioning.
- Lead and supervise hospitality teams, providing guidance on guest service standards and operational procedures.
- Manage hospitality operations budgets, including revenue management, cost control, and financial planning to maximize profitability.
- Implement and uphold property management systems (PMS) and hospitality reservation systems to streamline bookings and guest data management.
- Maintain high standards of guest services by addressing guest concerns promptly and ensuring exceptional customer experiences.
- Develop strategies to enhance hotel performance through marketing initiatives, revenue management techniques, and competitive analysis.
- Foster a positive work environment by recruiting, training, and developing staff while ensuring compliance with human resources policies.
- Coordinate night audit processes and oversee front desk operations including multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette.
- Monitor hotel guest service standards to ensure consistent delivery of outstanding guest relations across all departments.
- Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to maintain property standards and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel management or hospitality leadership roles with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of hotel management software including property management systems (PMS), reservation platforms, and financial management tools.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele effectively.
- Demonstrated expertise in overseeing daily hotel operations, revenue management, budgeting, and financial operations.
- Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster collaboration across departments.
- Extensive experience in customer service excellence within resort or hotel environments.
- Familiarity with hospitality reservation systems, night audit procedures, front desk operations, and multi-line phone systems.
