Hotel Front Desk Clerk

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience. You will play a vital role in maintaining the hotel’s reputation for outstanding hospitality, assisting guests with their needs, and contributing to a welcoming atmosphere.

Duties

• Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
• Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently and accurately.
• Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about hotel services and amenities.
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations using hotel management software.
• Assist in coordinating guest services such as room service, housekeeping, and concierge assistance.
• Ensure the front desk area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to enhance guest experiences.
• Help with folding laundry that is split between all shifts.
• Taking care of breakfast in the morning.
• Helping with laundry.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Excellent phone etiquette to communicate effectively with guests over the phone.
• Experience in hotel management or front desk operations is preferred.
• Knowledge of hospitality principles and practices.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus to cater to diverse guests.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with guests and team members alike.
• Proficiency in using hotel management software is advantageous but not required.
