Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our team at Quality Inn. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in delivering excellent customer service, ensuring smooth check-ins, and maintaining Choice Hotels' high standards of hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet, check in, and check out guests efficiently while ensuring a warm, welcoming environment.
- Manage reservations, walk-ins, and room assignments using the hotel property management system.
- Process payments, handle cash drawer balances, and issue room keys accurately.
- Answer phone calls professionally, routing inquiries, taking messages, and handling group booking questions.
- Resolve guest complaints or requests promptly and professionally, coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance teams when necessary.
- Promote and enroll guests in the Choice Privileges rewards program.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and lobby area.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 1 years of customer service or hotel front desk experience preferred (Choice Hotels experience is a major plus).
- Tech Skills: Basic computer proficiency required. Experience with hotel PMS software (like ChoiceAdvantage) is highly preferred but we will train the right candidate.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to remain calm under pressure during peak check-in hours.
- Availability: Must be flexible to work shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
