Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items with precision, ensuring quality and presentation meet high standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, adhering strictly to food safety sanitizing procedures
- Assist guests with food selections, answer questions about menu items, and provide friendly, attentive service
- Handle food safely during preparation, serving, and storage in compliance with food safety management protocols
- Restock buffet stations and ensure all serving utensils, plates, and beverages are replenished promptly
- Operate POS systems efficiently for guest transactions while maintaining accuracy in cash handling and order processing
- Follow manual handling guidelines when lifting or moving heavy supplies or equipment to prevent injuries
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service or hospitality environments, especially in fine dining or restaurant settings
- Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling best practices
- Experience with food preparation, serving, catering or banquet operations is highly desirable
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic weight handling in the workplace
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Culinary experience or barista experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support breakfast service schedules
