Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, and common areas, ensuring all surfaces are spotless and well-maintained
- Perform floor care duties such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and applying appropriate cleaning techniques for different surfaces
- Restock amenities like towels, toiletries, and linens to ensure guest comfort and convenience
- Conduct routine inspections of assigned areas to identify maintenance issues or cleanliness concerns and report them promptly
- Follow established safety protocols and use cleaning equipment properly to maintain a safe working environment
- Assist with laundry duties by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently
- Support the overall cleanliness of public spaces including lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms to uphold hotel standards
Experience
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is highly preferred
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques for various surfaces including carpets, tiles, and hardwood floors
- Experience with industrial cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, or steam cleaners is advantageous
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and customer service principles enhances guest interactions
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience demonstrating attention to detail and reliability is valued
