Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, floors, furniture, and fixtures to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Perform detailed floor care tasks such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and maintaining overall floor appearance.
- Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and linens to meet guest needs efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and common spaces to uphold the hotel’s standards.
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and guest satisfaction.
- Adhere to hotel policies regarding sanitation standards, security procedures, and guest privacy.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services; hotel experience is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning equipment.
- Strong understanding of hospitality standards and customer service principles.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting heavy objects, and walking throughout shifts.
