Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to ensure the optimal operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across various systems. Painting, patching, and plumbing experience also required.

Duties

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of HVAC systems to ensure proper functioning and energy efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and repair appliances and mechanical systems as needed, utilizing knowledge of appliance technology.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, diagnosing issues accurately and implementing effective solutions.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance and future reference.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure all work is performed in accordance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with team members to prioritize maintenance tasks and improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role in facilities management or related field.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, appliance technology, and general mechanical systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in maintenance work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Relevant technical certifications or training in HVAC, appliance repair, or related areas are preferred.

Pay: From $17.50 per hour
