Maintenance Staff

Job Summary:

The Hotel Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the property is safe, functional, and well-maintained for guests and staff. This role supports daily hotel operations by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and completing repairs in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on guest rooms, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general fixtures
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from front desk and housekeeping teams
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms, hallways, lobby, and exterior areas to ensure safety and cleanliness
• Maintain and repair equipment such as washers, dryers, ice machines, and vending machines
• Monitor and maintain HVAC systems, ensuring proper temperature control throughout the property
• Address issues related to water leaks, clogged drains, lighting, and minor structural repairs
• Ensure the property complies with safety standards and regulations (fire alarms, emergency lighting, etc.)
• Assist with preventative maintenance programs to reduce long-term repair costs
• Maintain maintenance logs and report completed work to management
• Support housekeeping and front desk when urgent operational issues arise

Qualifications:

• Previous maintenance or handyman experience preferred (hospitality experience is a plus)
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general repairs
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays if needed

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Standing, walking, bending, climbing ladders, and working in tight spaces
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various conditions

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
