Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Lifeguard to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all pool visitors. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to maintaining a safe environment, providing excellent guest services, and performing routine pool maintenance. Responsibilities
- Monitor pool area continuously to enforce safety rules and prevent accidents
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, providing first aid or CPR as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of the pool area, including pool cleaning and debris removal
- Conduct regular pool maintenance checks to ensure water quality and equipment functionality
- Assist guests with questions, provide guest services, and ensure a positive experience
- Perform heavy lifting tasks related to pool supplies or equipment when necessary
- Ensure proper operation of pool facilities and report any safety hazards or maintenance issues
- Performs equipment checks and ensures appropriate equipment is available as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Valid lifeguard certification with current CPR and First Aid training
- Prior lifeguard experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for qualified candidates
- Swimming proficiency with the ability to perform rescue techniques effectively
- Knowledge of pool maintenance and cleaning procedures is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with pool upkeep
- Strong observation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain alert for extended periods
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
