Housekeeper

Job Summary

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of living or guest areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and techniques
• Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning to keep surfaces spotless and well-maintained
• Manage laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items
• Ensure all sanitation standards are met by disinfecting surfaces, fixtures, and high-touch areas regularly
• Prepare and serve light meals or snacks as needed, demonstrating cooking skills that enhance guest or resident satisfaction
• Maintain organized storage of cleaning supplies and equipment for efficient operations
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents’ or guests’ requests promptly and professionally

Experience

• Proven janitorial or custodial experience in residential or commercial settings with a strong focus on cleanliness and sanitation
• Experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality environments is highly desirable
• Skilled in various cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, and sanitation procedures
• Familiarity with laundry operations and equipment handling
• Knowledge of housekeeping management practices is a plus for supervisory roles
• Prior experience with residential cleaning services or commercial cleaning contracts enhances your candidacy
• Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service with positive communication skills
