About the Role
The role involves Mainframe CICS Software Engineer initiatives, managing teams, and ensuring the successful execution for large-scale enterprise systems for one of our prestigious client.
***The Candidate shall meet the qualifications below:
1. A minimum of five (5) years of experience in online/CICS Transaction Server (TS) Version 4.1 and batch COBOL mainframe environment.
2. A minimum of five (5) years of experience coding in online CICS and batch COBOL/IDMS/DB2 mainframe environment.
3. A minimum of five (5) years of experience configuring CICS specific applications for functionality, system management, problem determination of CICS, and other CICS component software.
4. A minimum of five (5) years of experience with supporting CICS web services and the application interfaces with web service protocols SOAP and JavaScript. Ability to architect and configure the web service application interfaces, troubleshoot and resolve any web service issues.
5. A minimum of five (5) years of experience in configuration and operability of CICS web services.
*Possession of a bachelor's degree in an IT-related or Engineering field. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
6. Eight (8) or more years of experience in Transaction Server (TS) Version 4.1 and batch COBOL mainframe environment.
7. Eight (8) or more years of experience coding in online CICS and batch COBOL/IDMS/DB2 mainframe environment.

10. Eight (8) or more years' experience with configuration and operability of CICS web services.
*Possession of a master's degree in an IT-related or Engineering field.
