Key Responsibilities / Atribuciones
Warehouse Operations Management
- Lead and oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, putaway, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Ensure operational efficiency, safety compliance, and adherence to company policies and standards.
- Optimize workflows, space utilization, and labor allocation based on volume and priorities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between warehouse operations and transportation/transit teams.
- Coordinate all inbound shipments to ensure timely receiving and system visibility.
- Manage scheduling and execution of outbound deliveries to local Miami clients and international shipments to Panama.
- Proactively communicate operational risks, delays, or capacity constraints.
- Maintain full ownership of warehouse inventory accuracy and integrity.
- Plan and execute cycle counts based on SKU velocity and operational risk.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and define corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure proper system transactions and real-time inventory visibility.
- Own and drive performance across key KPIs, including:
- Receiving SLA compliance
- Order fulfillment SLA (on-time shipping)
- Inventory accuracy
- Productivity (UPH – Units Per Hour)
- Order accuracy / error rate
- Analyze operational data and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide regular performance reports and insights to leadership.
- Ensure high service levels through proactive customer communication regarding order status, delays, or issues.
- Support value-added services such as labeling, rework, and priority shipments.
- Lead, train, and develop the warehouse team.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, performance, and daily priorities.
- Foster a culture of accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Proven experience managing warehouse or distribution center operations.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, inbound/outbound logistics, and operational KPIs.
- Experience coordinating transportation and shipments (local and international preferred).
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
