What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Maintenance Technician position at SLB?
Facilities Maintenance Technician will report to HSE & Facilities Mgr. This is a general list of duties that are variable on a daily basis. When there seems to be no Facility work orders pending, the Technician can and will be used for other maintenance duties.
- Parking lot
- Landscaping & Grounds Maint. contracting
- Janitorial Contracting
- Building HVAC point of contact for repairs, PM, air filters, etc.
- Fire System and Fire alarm testing and repairs
- Annual Fire System Testing coordination and follow up actions
- Fire Chief Inspection (HSE & Facilities Mgr. and Facilities Maint. combined)
- FM Global insurance inspection and follow up actions (HSE & Facilities Mgr. and Facilities Maint. combined)
- Annual crane inspection and follow up actions
- EPACS system – Equipment upkeep/repairs (access control is still under HSE & Facilities Mgr. responsibility)
- Office furniture upkeep requests
- Elevator repair callout, inspections, follow up actions
- Roofing issues
- Facilities plumbing
- BLDG infrastructure repairs or coordination (i.e. columns, siding, floors, shop floor concrete, windows, doors, painting, facility lighting, etc.)
- Other general facilities related to electrical including conduit and running wires
