What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Maintenance Technician position at Nobilitas Group?
The Facilities Maintenance Technician will report to Facilities Manager working in conjunction with the Maintenance Manager. This is a general list of duties that are variable on a daily basis. When there seems to be no Facility work orders pending, the Technician can and will be used for other maintenance duties.

• EPACS system – Equipment up keep (access control is still under HSE Mgr. responsibility)
• Office furniture Upkeep requests
• Office Elevator inspections / maint.
• Roof
• Plumbing - Facilities
• Floor/Concrete
• BLDG infrastructure (i.e. columns, siding, floor, etc.) Exterior Painting
• Fire System Testing
• Banbury (i.e. elevator and lift equipment)
• Facility Lighting
• General facility electrical including conduit and running wires
Facilities details:
- The tallest roofing deck is 3 stories or about 90 feet.
- There are weekly walks for inspection, no repair, some minor equipment checks. The EE will coordinate roofing repairs through a third-party vendor.
- The technician will be required to walk on the roof of the building with a buddy. They will not work near enough to the edge (less than 6 feet from edge) to require fall protection in most cases.
- The roof is accessible with mostly ladders and stairs, not commonly by lift but may on occasion.
- No working near roof edges or on elevated platforms without guardrails.
- Regarding electrical work above standard conduit and wire runs, the expectation for this particular role will be 24VAC&DC 120V, 240V, and 277V experience . This would be commonly used voltages for wall outlets and lighting. Individuals with more experience may work on 480V items as well.
- No duties will involve working in confined spaces, but they will involve heights beyond the roof; using scissor and articulating lifts, ladders, etc. Mostly in this case for lighting. Generally, under 30 feet in height.
- Any related certifications such as OSHA 10/30, Fall Protection, Electrical Safety or familiarity with industrial/commercial operations are a plus. The company will provide training as necessary if needed and will likely re-train for their records.
