Field Service Technician:
Site Location: Alpharetta
THE ROLE: The Field Service Technician will be responsible for initiating and executing field service activities at the site in a safe and efficient manner. This role includes proactive system troubleshooting, works with mechanical, electrical, diesel equipment conditions, conducts preventative maintenance and parts inventory, and anticipates and corrects safety issues (both Company and Customer owned equipment). Has direct interfacing with customer at times.

The position requires working with pumps, chemical feed systems, DAF (dissolved air filtration), sand media filters, bag filters Performs operational duties related to repairing wastewater mechanical equipment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting wastewater equipment; determining schedules and equipment repair requirements; performing preventative maintenance; and installing new and rebuilt pumps, motors, augers, gear drives rollers, controllers, blowers, and heat-exchangers etc.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Positions in this class typically require climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, mobility, pushing, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive physical motions.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Completion of course work equivalent to the academic requirements of a High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Two (2) years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
LICENSING REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid State of Georgia Drivers License (as required by position assignment).
