Salary
$25.00 to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule
Part-time: 25-30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, flexible schedule between core hours of 9AM to 5PM. Examples: 9AM - 2 or 3PM, or 10AM - 3 or 4PM.
Full-time: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:45AM-5:15PM

Full Job Description
Slater Cosme, PC, Attorneys at Law is a dynamic Pasadena law firm of five attorneys and five supporting team members specializing in trusts, estate planning, real estate, business law, and litigation in those practice areas. We are currently interviewing for a Legal Administrative Assistant/Coordinator with one to three years office experience (law firm preferred but not required).
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Firm Administrator, attorneys, and other team members;
- Use software applications for data entry, scanning and archiving files, recording transactions, and basic bookkeeping such as A/R and A/P;
- Provide support to Client Services Specialist, provide friendly greeting to callers, process incoming and outgoing mail, and handling correspondence;
- Managing calendars and scheduling meetings, coordinating with attorneys and clients;
- Take inventory of office and kitchen supplies and place orders for replenishment;
- Maintain and update physical and electronic files and records; scan physical files and save to appropriate locations in the firm’s document management system;
- Assist attorneys with assignments and projects including internet and legal research, due diligence, and e-filings;
- Support attorneys with legal documents including retrieving files, scanning, saving, sharing, and archiving documents as requested and needed, ensuring that legal processes are followed correctly and complying with relevant regulations and firm policies;
- Assist with monthly client billing and reminders;
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Ability to lift files and boxes as needed up to approximately 15 lbs. for storage, archive, moving, or coordination of destruction.
