What are the responsibilities and job description for the Prepress/Graphic Designer position at Slate Group?
Slate Group is seeking a prepress/designer who is excited to learn new skills within the realm of print design by joining our growing prepress team. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive pay (DOE). The right candidate should be ready to work within a collaborative team on a wide variety of preflight, print design, and graphics.

- Delegate time efficiently toward multiple orders
Common Duties:
- Performing preflight and design for Labels, Packaging, Screen Printing, Promotional Items, and Wide Format.
- Communicate issues with files back to the prepress manager
- Check layout on tickets for correct trim size of product/substrate
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Strong work ethic
- Solid communication skills
- Strong ability to operate the following programs:
- Illustrator
- Photoshop
- InDesign
- Acrobat Pitstop
