What are the responsibilities and job description for the Superintendent- Frederick, MD position at SL Recruit?
This family-owned, mid-sized general contractor works on a wide range of projects in the Frederick, MD area including interiors, base builds, and both commercial & federal projects. Most projects range between $1M-20M. They have grown immensely over the past 5 years and due to the number of projects starting in the upcoming months, they are looking to add an additional Superintendent to the team who has at least 5 years of experience in the commercial construction space.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct the material, tools, equipment, and labor used to complete the project
- Coordinate all field employees, coordinate all subtractor activities
- Develop and maintain the site logistics plan for the project
- Develop baseline project schedule
- Manage the project to meet the required specifications in the allotted time
- Review and approve all requisitions, field purchase orders, progress payment requests, and other significant reports and documents.
- Responsible for site safety
- Maintain and build high quality relationships with subcontractors and vendors
Requirements:
- 8 years experience as a Superintendent
- GC experience required
- Ability to commute to Frederick, MD
