Our SkyWater Accounts Payable - Accountant 1 is responsible for a wide range of accounting activities which consists of general ledger entries, balance sheet flux analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, Accounts Payables, and month-end close. This position reports to the Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for accounts payables (AP) invoice processing on 2 and 3-way match purchases through NetSuite
• Supervise weekly AP invoice on hold report.
• Compile and monitor AP Aging Report.
• Forecasting of weekly payment registers.
• Work with Procurement or suppliers to resolve invoice/purchase order discrepancies.
• Prepare journal entries and accruals for assigned accounts.
• Assist in reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and variances analysis to identify/research/resolve unusual balances.
• Assist in annual external audit as well as our annual 401(k) audit.
• Special projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• 2 years of accounting experience.
• Understanding of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Ability to work with all levels of management and operational groups.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong understanding of the functionality of Microsoft Excel.

The annual salary range for this role is $56,720 - $85,080. Pay offered is based on many factors including, but not limited to, the job-related experience, skills, education, and credentials of each candidate.
