The role is ideal for a strategic sales leader who enjoys balancing hands-on client engagement with team leadership. You will oversee a geographically dispersed sales team and play a central role in shaping go-to-market strategy, talent development, and overall revenue performance. The position reports directly to the CEO and is part of the senior leadership team.
This is a highly visible opportunity for someone who thrives in a “player/coach” environment; someone comfortable closing deals with corporate decision makers, while building structure, process, and accountability across a team. Ideal candidates will bring a mix of B2B sales leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a track record of driving results in technical selling environments. A background in construction, facilities, or service-oriented industries is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing sales team of 10 professionals across multiple geographies.
- Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with company growth goals.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, and Customer Service to enhance the customer journey and close more business.
- Recruit, onboard, and continuously train sales talent to build out teams across geographies.
- Drive accountability through clear metrics, pipeline discipline, and performance management.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
- Personally manage and close key accounts, particularly high-potential or strategic clients.
- Partner with sales reps on major opportunities, site visits, and complex proposals.
- Identify emerging market segments and growth opportunities.
- 10 years of B2B sales experience, including 3 years in a sales leadership capacity.
- Proven success in a "player/coach" model — both managing teams and selling directly.
- Strong background in education-led selling within construction, facilities, or technical product industries preferred.
- Exceptional communication, coaching, and strategic thinking skills.
- Demonstrated success with CRM systems, sales forecasting, and performance analytics.
- Ability to travel 25-30%
