A Technical Sales Representative is responsible for profitably growing sales with an established group of customers. TSRs will establish and maintain relationships with existing customers, identify new opportunities and close those opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Provide recommendations, and solutions for products and services to meet customer needs
- Work with engineering and technical staff to clarify customer needs and develop specifications
- Research local markets and competition to identify sales opportunities and threats
- Oversee delivery, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of systems
Desired Skills And Experience
- Results-oriented sales professional with a minimum of 3 - 5 years technical sales experience; preferably engineered fluid power systems and instrumentation
- Background in industrial distribution a plus
- Working knowledge and understanding of industrial products including hydraulic and mechanical knowledge of HPUs, system design and testing, pumps, cylinders, valves, as well as industrial control systems
- Industrial sales experience with selling into industrial manufacturing and mining Comp 100-200k
