We are seeking a driven, technically knowledgeable Outside Sales Engineer to join our Flow Control team. In this role, you will identify and develop new business opportunities, maintain and grow relationships with existing customers, and serve as a key technical resource for OEM’s and End Users. The ideal candidate combines strong sales skills with technical expertise in engineered products such as control valves and instrumentation..

Responsibilities

• Provide recommendations, and solutions for products and services to meet customer needs
• Work with engineering and technical staff to clarify customer needs and develop specifications
• Research local markets and competition to identify sales opportunities and threats
• Build out distribution channels
  
  

Desired Skills And Experience

• Results-oriented sales professional with a minimum of 3 - 5 years technical sales experience; preferably having sold valves, flow control products or instrumentation
• Background in industrial distribution a plus
• Working knowledge and understanding of industrial products including control valves and temp, level, pressure instrumentation
• Industrial sales experience
