SkyWater has been retained for a Medical Director position with an Oncology client. This is an exciting strategic role that requires someone with deep oncology expertise, clinical practice experience, and strong pharmaceutical industry knowledge. This full-time remote role is based in the US with global responsibility. It could potentially be a senior position for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute long-range medical affairs strategies, including lifecycle planning initiatives, aimed at addressing evolving scientific and clinical knowledge gaps across therapeutic areas and future indications
• Contribute to publication planning and the development of scientific communications materials, including presentations, educational resources, and other medical content for internal and external audiences
• Oversee collaborative research programs involving both multicenter and single-site investigator-sponsored studies, as well as real-world evidence initiatives, to strengthen the overall clinical evidence base
• Foster strong relationships with key external experts, healthcare professionals, and research collaborators to support scientific exchange and insight generation
  
  

Desired Skills And Experience

• MD with clinical practice experience, ideally in oncology
• 3 years’ experience in medical affairs, clinical development, or related pharmaceutical industry roles within oncology
• Strong, solid tumor scientific knowledge and experience with clinical trial design and study execution
• Excellent communication, leadership, and collaborative ability.
