Responsibilities
- Supervise and support nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
- Ensure delivery of quality resident care in accordance with facility policies and state and federal regulations.
- Monitor resident conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status.
- Assist with admissions, transfers, discharges, and care coordination.
- Conduct rounds and provide clinical guidance to staff.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal resident outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in quality assurance initiatives.
- Support infection prevention, safety, and regulatory compliance efforts.
- Current Connecticut RN license in good standing.
- Long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience preferred.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience is a plus.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
