Entry Level Team Member

You don't have to come from a traditional sales background to be good at working with people. Skyscraper Marketing brings together people from customer service, restaurants, hospitality, retail, coffee shops, and other fast-paced environments to represent nationally recognized wireless companies through in-person promotions and events.

The Entry Level Team Member position is an opportunity to turn those everyday people skills into professional sales experience. Working at community events and promotional pop-ups throughout the greater Concord area, you'll meet new customers, introduce wireless services and promotions, and learn how to guide an interaction toward sales and enrollment – all while working alongside a team that helps you build on the strengths you already have.

Responsibilities of the Entry Level Team Member

• Learn current wireless products and promotions so you can turn product information into comfortable, natural sales conversations.
• Welcome people into the event experience and create the kind of positive first impression that encourages them to stick around.
• Use the same listening and people-reading skills that make someone successful in hospitality or customer service to understand what each person needs.
• Learn how to respond when someone has questions, hesitations, or wants to compare different options.
• Support customers through sales and enrollment while making sure information is clear and accurate.
• Work alongside other Entry Level Team Member hires to share ideas, learn from different approaches, and improve your sales skills through experience.

Qualifications of the Entry Level Team Member

• Experience in customer service, restaurants, hospitality, bartending, barista work, retail, or sales can give you an excellent foundation for this position.
• Comfortable talking with different personalities and keeping conversations positive even when things get busy.
• Knows how to listen instead of assuming what someone wants or needs.
• Able to stay composed, personable, and focused in active event environments.
• Interested in taking communication skills you've already developed and applying them in a new setting.
• Motivated by the opportunity to become more confident and develop practical sales skills through hands-on experience.
