What You’ll Do
- Generate and nurture leads for residential and commercial roofing, repair, replacement and possibly solar-roofing (since Skymark also offers solar options). Skymark Roofing 1
- Meet with homeowners or business owners in the Central Florida territory, assess roofing needs, present solutions (roof repair, replacement, storm damage, etc).
- Educate customers about roofing materials, warranty, financing options (Skymark offers homeowner financing). Skymark Roofing
- Manage the sales process from initial contact to contract closing, coordinate with operations to ensure a smooth handoff and excellent customer experience.
- Hit or exceed sales targets, maintain a territory pipeline, and contribute to company growth.
- Travel regionally as needed (Central Florida includes Tampa, Orlando, Lakeland, etc.) and work field hours that align with customers’ schedules (including evenings or weekends when needed).
What We’re Looking For
- Proven sales experience (ideally in home-improvement, roofing, construction or related industries) OR a strong drive and ability to learn.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — ability to build rapport with homeowners and business decision-makers.
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable working in a field environment and managing own territory.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s licence, local knowledge of Central Florida market and willingness to travel within the territory.
- Results-oriented, resilient (roofing sales can be commission heavy and demands follow-through).
- Some roofing/insurance/repair knowledge preferred but not strictly required — we’ll provide product & process training.
