Position Overview
Skymark Roofing is seeking an experienced and motivated Canvassing Manager to lead, train, and scale our door-to-door canvassing team in the Mount Dora and surrounding Central Florida markets. This role is responsible for driving lead generation performance, building a high-energy field team, and serving as the bridge between canvassers and the sales department. The ideal candidate is hands-on, performance-driven, and experienced in managing outside sales or canvassing teams within home services.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and train canvassers/field marketers
- Manage daily field operations, including territory planning and route assignments
- Set performance expectations and track KPIs such as doors knocked, leads generated, and appointment quality
- Conduct ride-alongs, field coaching, and ongoing performance development
- Motivate and lead the team through contests, incentives, and accountability systems
- Collaborate closely with sales management to ensure lead quality and conversion
- Monitor attendance, productivity, and compliance with company standards
- Maintain a strong understanding of Skymark Roofing's services, promotions, and value proposition
- Represent Skymark Roofing professionally in the community and at events
- Provide regular reporting and feedback to senior management
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience in canvassing, field marketing, or door-to-door sales (home services preferred: roofing, solar, windows, HVAC, etc.)
- Prior leadership or management experience strongly preferred
- Proven ability to recruit, train, and motivate field teams
- Strong communication, coaching, and organizational skills
- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of hitting or exceeding goals
- Comfortable working outdoors and in a field-based role
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
