What are the responsibilities and job description for the Surgery Scheduler position at Skyline Vision Clinic?
Fast paced ophthalmology group looking for a surgery scheduler to:
- Meet with prospective surgery patients.
- Schedule surgeries.
- Travel with required doctors to meet with patients on upcoming surgery appointments. Overnight stay once a month possible.
- Confirm patients and answer appointment and surgery related questions.
- Perform other duties as assigned to assist in the function and efficiency of the office.
Requirements
- Must be able to sit for up to 8 hours at a time
- Must maintain strong, professional verbal communication skills with internal and external patients
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to type
- Must be able to travel
- Must be able to lift and carry approximately 25 pounds
- Good telephone etiquette
- Strong Organizational Skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
