Duties
- Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to detect suspicious activity and ensure perimeter security.
- Conduct thorough background checks on new hires, visitors, or contractors to verify their credentials and ensure compliance with security policies.
- Perform regular patrols both on foot and company vehicle of the premises to identify potential hazards, security breaches, or safety concerns.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents by coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed.
- Manage access control by verifying identification, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining logs of all entries and exits.
- Utilize security equipment including Taser devices, AED (Automated External Defibrillator), CPR techniques, and first aid procedures to assist in emergencies.
- Handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting or manual handling when required for incident management or equipment setup.
- Enforce loss prevention strategies by observing for theft or vandalism and taking appropriate action to deter such activities.
- Hours are 5pm-1am
Skills
- Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems effectively.
- Background in law enforcement, military service, or security roles demonstrating discipline and situational awareness.
- Certified in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and Taser use to respond confidently during emergencies.
- Knowledge of conflict management techniques to de-escalate tense situations professionally.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for conducting thorough background checks and inspections.
- Familiarity with loss prevention methods and security best practices to protect assets and personnel.
