Security Officer

Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Officer to safeguard our facilities, assets, and personnel. Duties

• Monitor security cameras and surveillance systems (CCTV) to detect suspicious activity and ensure the safety of premises.
• Conduct regular patrols of the property, including building interiors, exteriors, and perimeter fences, to identify potential security breaches or hazards.
• Control access to the facility using advanced access control systems, verifying identities and authorizations of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Respond swiftly to emergencies by following established procedures for fire safety, medical incidents (first aid and CPR), or security breaches.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting any security concerns, disturbances, or accidents with clarity and accuracy.
• Perform background checks on new employees or visitors as part of compliance with security regulations.
• Manage conflict de-escalation techniques during tense situations, ensuring safety for all parties involved
• Hours are Monday -Friday 6:30 am -2pm and Saturday 6:30 am -10am .Overtime every week .

Experience

• Prior experience in security or law enforcement roles is highly desirable; military background is a plus.
• Demonstrated knowledge of surveillance technology (CCTV), access control systems, and emergency response procedures.
• Certification in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED operation (Automated External Defibrillator), Taser use, and firearm handling preferred.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting when necessary for safety or operational needs.
• Proven skills in incident report writing with attention to detail and clarity.
• Experience performing background checks and ensuring compliance with security regulations is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage conflict management situations professionally and effectively.
