We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Officer to join our dynamic team. Duties

• Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to detect suspicious activity and ensure perimeter security.
• Conduct thorough patrols of the premises, including buildings, parking areas, and restricted zones, to identify potential security breaches or hazards.
• Manage access control systems by verifying identities and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.
• Respond swiftly to incidents or emergencies by following established protocols, including performing first aid or CPR when necessary.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting security breaches, accidents, or unusual activities with clarity and accuracy.
• Perform background checks on new personnel or visitors as part of the onboarding or screening process.
• Enforce compliance with security regulations and company policies through regular inspections and patrols.
• Hours are Monday-Friday 6am -2pm and Saturday from 7am -10am.Overtime every week .

Skills

• Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems and monitoring multiple screens simultaneously.
• Background in military or law enforcement roles is highly desirable for understanding security protocols and emergency procedures.
• Certified in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, and fire safety measures.
• Proficient in manual handling techniques for heavy lifting and physical security tasks while maintaining safety standards.
• Skilled in incident report writing with attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation of events.
• Knowledge of access control systems and performing background checks to verify identities effectively.
• Excellent customer service abilities combined with conflict de-escalation and conflict management skills to handle tense situations professionally.
• Capable of performing emergency response procedures confidently, including fire drills and evacuation protocols.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
