What you’ll do
- Create and run innovative marketing magic that fills rooms, boosts revenue, and leaves guests with happy memories
- Lead, coach, and inspire a crack team of sales and marketing pros (think high-fives all around)
- Manage our online presence with pizzazz: website management, social media engagement, and reputation sparkle
- Own city-wide group bookings, events, and big-wave programs that bring crowds and collaborations
- Negotiate rates like a pro, secure deals, and ensure everything aligns with brand swagger
- Partner across departments to deliver a seamless, top-notch guest experience from check-in to check-out

Responsibilities
Lead and inspire a high-energy sales and marketing team; assess team strengths, identify gaps, and develop clear growth plans
- Analyze team needs and assign responsibilities to maximize performance; mentor and coach to unlock potential
- Own and manage the hotel's website end-to-end: strategy, content, UX, SEO, updates, and ongoing optimization
- Develop and implement social media strategies across platforms; create engaging content, campaigns, community management, and influencer partnerships
- Cultivate and maintain social media influencer contacts to amplify reach and authenticity
- Oversee branding processes from concept to execution; ensure visual identity, voice, and guest experience are consistent
- Collaborate with key stakeholders (Operations, Revenue Management, F&B, Events, Corporate Sales, Front Office) to align goals and branding
- Plan, track, and report on marketing initiatives; provide direct updates and insights to the General Manager
- Lead city-wide group bookings, events, and large-scale programs; coordinate cross-functional teams for flawless execution
- Manage partnerships, sponsorships, and PR opportunities to raise brand awareness in Downtown LA
- Drive innovative, technology-focused solutions (CRM, marketing automation, analytics) to improve efficiency and guest engagement
- Develop and monitor budgets, timelines, and ROI for all marketing and sales activities
- Champion exceptional guest experiences by aligning marketing campaigns with on-property guest services and operations
- Ensure compliance with brand standards, hotel policies, and local regulations in all campaigns
Qualifications

* Proven success in hotel sales and marketing with experience in outside sales
* Demonstrated experience launching new hotels, rebranding, or executing high-visibility campaigns
* Deep knowledge of the Downtown Los Angeles market and the local business community
* Experience working with or near the LA Convention Center and adjacent downtown properties
* Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
* Proficiency with website management, social media management, digital marketing tools, CRM, and revenue management systems
* Experience coordinating city-wide group bookings, events, and large-scale programs
* Ability to analyze market data, extract insights, and translate them into actionable strategies
* Comfortable collaborating across departments (Operations, F&B, Events, Revenue Management, Front Office) to deliver top-tier guest experiences
* Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
* Familiarity with branding, UX, SEO, and marketing automation; a tech-forward mindset
* Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and ROI for marketing and sales initiative
