Summary
The Inbound Business Development Representative (IBDR) plays a very important role at Skyline. He/she will respond to all new inbound company inquiries, help to marketing qualify new business and then route qualified leads to the applicable sales organization or dealer network.
This is a position for an aspiring sales professional who is excited to jump-start his/her career with a role in business development. Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Qualifying inbound leads generated by Skyline’s marketing campaigns and handing qualified potential customer contacts off to the sales team
- Working in Skyline’s Marketing Technology systems to ensure seamless transition of a Marketing Qualified Lead into a Sales Accepted Lead
- Communicating Skyline’s differentiated value proposition to potential customers in an impactful way and demonstrating why a meeting with Skyline would be beneficial to them/their organization
- Successfully diagnosing potential customers’ key business needs to ensure high quality sales meetings once potential customer contacts are handed off to the sales team
- Working with the marketing team to create and update Skyline’s Inbound BDR messaging
- Collaborate with our Sales (Business Development) team for continuous improvement on our Lead Generation and Marketing Qualified Lead hand-off process
- Provide frontline client support service for potential customer order inquiries
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- You have experience in Marketing Automation and CRM systems (preferred)
- You are attentive to detail; checking work and following up with others to ensure accuracy
- You have strong verbal and written communication skills
- You have experience in AI platforms and have used them to improve processes
- You have the willingness to learn, low ego, and proactively take ownership of responsibilities
- You possess relationship building skills and a team player attitude
- You have the poise, confidence, and maturity necessary to interact with senior potential customer contacts and serve as a great Skyline Brand Ambassador.
Experience
- 0-3 years of experience in sales and prospecting. We love recent college graduates with some level of work/leadership experience (i.e., internships, part-time jobs, leadership positions, etc..).
- Strong verbal/written communication skills and experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Minimum Education/Certification
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Position is sedentary in nature, occasional standing and stooping throughout the day.
Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
